We aim to process refunds for approved returns and claims within 30 days after receiving the returned item.

Right of Withdrawal (EU)

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

The product must be returned unused, in its original condition and packaging.

Returns

Returns must be approved by our customer service before being sent. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

You are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipping.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us.

Refunds
Upon receiving and approving your return, we will refund the value of the returned products.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Unclaimed Parcels & Failed Deliveries

If a parcel is returned to us due to circumstances under the customer's responsibility — including but not limited to incorrect address details, failure to collect the parcel, or refusal of delivery — a return handling fee will be deducted from the refund.

This fee corresponds to the actual costs incurred by Hanataba for return shipping, handling, and administration.

If these costs exceed the order value, no refund will be issued.

Claims (Defective Products)

If you believe your product is defective, please contact our customer service before returning the item. Include clear images or video of the issue.

Defects are defined as manufacturing faults and do not include normal wear and tear.

In case of an approved claim, Hanataba will cover reasonable return shipping costs and offer a repair, replacement, or refund.

In the event of a dispute, we comply with decisions made by the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN).
