The Hanataba Kenzan Ring 150 mm Acrylic Flower Frog is designed to let the flowers take centre stage.
Place the ring in a bowl or vase.
Add water.
Insert stems onto the pins and build your arrangement around the ring.
It doesn’t draw attention.
It lets the flowers do that.
Crafted from clear acrylic, the ring becomes almost invisible in water. The technique behind the arrangement fades into the background, allowing the flowers and branches to stand out naturally.
Although lightweight, the circular design distributes weight evenly across the arrangement. When stems are balanced around the ring, it remains surprisingly stable in most bowls and vases.
The acrylic pins are best suited for fresh flowers, grasses and lighter stems, making this ring ideal for airy, natural and modern floral compositions.

Remove stems after use.
Rinse with water and brush gently if needed.
Plant residue can easily be removed using a Kenzan Rake or a small brush.

The sizes of the plastic container and the flower holder do not match, although from the promotional video it looked like they were compatible. Also, the flower holder does not hold the flowers firmly enough. However, overall, the bouquet looks beautiful when the weight of the flowers is properly balanced.

Das war mein erster Versuch, ein Ikebana zu stecken. Mit dem Kenzan von Hanabata ist das perfekt gelungen. Mir personlich gefällt der transparente Kenzan sehr gut.

Love it! Have both versions but prefer the transparent one. Also great in a (thrifted) glass low vase. Think it will become my preferred gift for friends.
Die Blumendeko sieht richtig toll aus. In den Ring mit 15cm ø stecke ich immer 7 bis 9 Blumen, Ziergräser oder Zweige. Man kann auch einfach nur einzelne verwelkte Blumen austauschen. So hat man richtig lange was von einzelnen Blumen. Begeistert bin ich auch von der „Haltbarkeit“ der Arrangements. Auch an den sehr heißen Tagen in den letzten Wochen haben die Blumen lange geblüht. Und das Wasser riecht auch deutlich angenehmer als das Wasser in einer herkömmlichen Vase. Ich bin total begeistert und habe auch schon einen Ring verschenkt.

I think a verbal demo of how to assemble the Twister would be helpful. And more tutorials on flower arrangements for both twister and the Kenyan flower frogs would be good. The equipment is good quality and I will enjoy using them
